Shinkawa VM-7 Series VM-703B Speed/Eccentricity Monitoring Module
VM-703B is a speed and eccentricity monitoring module for the Shinkawa VM-7 series TSI system in Japan. It is installed in the VM-761B rack slot and supports magnetic electric speed probes and eddy current probes to measure rotor speed, acceleration, steering, and shaft eccentricity.

Function: Receive speed probe signals, collect unit speed, acceleration rate, and rotation direction, and achieve overspeed, low-speed, and zero speed protection; Receive eddy current probe to collect shaft eccentricity (shaft bending) data; Output relay alarm contacts and 4-20mA analog signals, and send speed and eccentricity values to the DCS/ETS system; Provide phase marker signals for phase synchronization in the vibration analysis module; Equipped with probe wire breakage detection, providing speed protection and rotor bending status monitoring basis for rotating machinery of steam turbines and compressors

- Dual port RJ45 Ethernet interface, Modbus TCP industrial Ethernet protocol, can simultaneously interface with DCS systems and diagnostic PCs without the need for additional hardware conversion.

- The B1-5 version is a dedicated configuration version with a fixed protocol register layout, which is directly compatible with existing DCS point tables in existing power plants and petrochemical projects. Replacement of spare parts does not require modification of the upper level program.
