VM-3D2 is a Japanese Shinkawa VM-3 series TSI axial displacement (thrust) monitoring module. Adapt to VM-3 series standard chassis, receive eddy current probe signals to measure rotor axial thrust displacement.

Function: Collect eddy current approaching probe signals and monitor real-time axial displacement (thrust shaft displacement) of the rotating unit rotor; Complete signal conditioning and range conversion; Provide warning and danger level relay alarm contacts, and output interlocking signals to the ETS protection system when exceeding the limit; Output 4-20mA analog signal to DCS to display axial displacement value; Equipped with probe breakage fault detection, providing key measurement basis for thrust protection of turbine and compressor bearing shells, and preventing equipment accidents caused by thrust bearing burnout.

Product features
  1. Single channel axial displacement (thrust) measurement, specifically designed for monitoring rotor axial displacement, supports standard eddy current probes, with adjustable range hardware, and adapts to the thrust stroke requirements of different units.
  2.  Equipped with sensor disconnection and short circuit fault detection, triggering module fault alarm when probe circuit is abnormal, to avoid invalid measurement.
  3. Two level alarm output: warning Alert, hazard Danger relay dry contact, can be connected to the unit ETS trip circuit to achieve thrust over limit interlock protection.
  4. 4-20mA standard analog output, equipped with BNC dynamic signal interface, can be externally connected to read the original displacement waveform for easy maintenance and fault analysis.
  5. Plug in rack installation, installed on VM-3 series chassis; The panel status indicator light intuitively displays the measurement, alarm, and sensor fault status.
  6. Hardware potentiometers complete zero and range calibration without software configuration; It belongs to the early analog TSI module and does not have a digital communication bus.
