SHINKAWA VM-741B VM7 Series TSI Local Communication/Keyphasor Integrated Module
VM-741B is a Japanese SHINKAWA VM7 series TSI local communication/key phase integrated module. VM-741B is the core board for local human-machine interaction, key phase synchronization, and rack total alarm summary of the entire TSI rack, which is indispensable.
Same system matching: VM-701B axis vibration/axis displacement card, VM-742B external network communication card, VM-75XB redundant power supply, VM-76B standard 19 inch rack.

Two core functional modules
1. Local communication gateway (human-computer interaction channel)
- Connect the rear dedicated Ethernet port to the local upper display computer (MCL View software VM-771B), and upload real-time vibration, displacement, temperature, speed values, bar charts, and alarm status of all channels in the entire rack;
- Connect the front USB debugging port to the engineer’s computer (Device Config software VM-772B) to configure batch parameters, set alarm values, download firmware, and diagnose faults for all monitoring cards in the rack; three Backplane internal bus: interacts with data acquisition cards such as VM-701B/VM-703B in the rack, and summarizes data from all measurement points in the rack.
2. Phase Marker key phase/speed acquisition (core synchronization function)
- 4-channel independent key phase input, suitable for eddy current probes (FK-202F, RD-05A) and reluctance speed probes;
- Supports up to 60000rpm speed acquisition, outputs synchronous phase pulses, and performs 1X/2X frequency doubling, eccentricity analysis, and vibration phase locking for the vibration module;
- Built in high and low speed alarm thresholds (danger/warning levels), with overspeed/low-speed direct output alarm contacts;
- The key phase signal provides a synchronization reference for the analysis of overall machine vibration and fault diagnosis (imbalance, misalignment).
3. Centralized management of rack alarms
- Panel global DANGER red light: When any channel of the rack triggers a dangerous trip alarm, it lights up;
- Global alarm relay output (SPDT passive contact), can be externally sent to DCS/unit TCS (such as GE Mark VI) interlocking;
- Alarm mode options: automatic reset/self-locking hold, supporting external reset terminal connection;
- Provide start stop sequence filtering function: shield temporary vibration alarms during the start-up phase of the unit during the acceleration phase to avoid false trippin
