The FC-BSN-1608 is a 16-channel Safety Sensor Signal Converter Module designed for Honeywell’s Safety Manager and Experion® PKS safety instrumented systems (SIS). It converts low-level safety sensor signals—primarily from Pepperl+Fuchs (P+F) safety sensors—into standardized 0–8 V DC signals compatible with safe line-monitored digital input modules such as the SDIL-1608
Passive in design with a shared 8 V connection, the FC-BSN-1608 interfaces the field device side with the IO backplane of the control system.
